Achievements in Path of the Idle Cultivator

Achievements in Path of the Idle Cultivator track milestones across realms, origins, combat, and sect systems. A September 2026 patch added x5000 and x10000 milestone achievements. Steam Early Access opened on 5 Sep 2026 (app 5007580, free to play). Single-player, English.

The Achievements tab sits in the header alongside Quests, Fate Cards, and other persistence panels. It is not a replacement for the combat or cultivation spine, but milestones interact with soul power and legacy in ways that make it worth checking between rebirths.

Achievement categories

Achievements group by system:

• Realm achievements — progress through the fifty-plus realms from Body Tempering to Dao, plus Chaos. Tracking cumulative realm clears across rebirths.
• Combat achievements — tribulation wins, extra boss bonuses, breakthrough clears. The combat-focused milestones that reward fighting spirit.
• Origin achievements — individual origin completions and quest milestones. Each origin has its own achievement tree to work through.
• Sect achievements — disciple milestones, sect level, and resource thresholds. Sect management has its own tracking separate from personal cultivation.
• Gathering achievements — spirit stones, materials, elemental nodes. Resource accumulation milestones that track your hoarding habits.
• Milestone achievements — x5000 and x10000 tiers added in the September 2026 patch. The current ceiling targets for long-running accounts.

x5000 and x10000 milestones

The September 2026 patch added achievements for x5000 and x10000 progression. These are late-game milestones, not first-life targets.

The x5000 milestone typically tracks cumulative realm or cultivation progress across multiple lives. Reaching this tier means you have cycled through rebirth several times with solid soul power banking. The milestone itself does not unlock new realms, but it signals that you have mastered the existing progression loop.

The x10000 milestone is a harder ceiling goal for long-running accounts. Players who have invested significant time into the game work toward this tier as a long-term tracking marker. The exact mechanics of what x10000 measures depend on your build version; check the Achievements panel for specifics.

These achievements do not unlock new content in the traditional sense. They are tracking milestones that sit above the regular achievement tiers. Players who have cycled through multiple rebirths with solid soul power banking are the target audience.

How achievements interact with rebirth

Soul power, legacy vault, and soul weapons persist across rebirth. Achievement progress that tracks cumulative account metrics also persists. Achievement progress tied to a specific life resets with that life.

Practical habit: check the Achievements tab before you rebirth. Some milestones are easier to hit in a single sitting than to rebuild across multiple lives. If you are close to a milestone when a life stalls, push for it before you reset rather than assuming you will hit it faster in the next life.

Where to find achievement details

The in-game Achievements panel shows exact progress and thresholds. Steam overlay also surfaces achievement notifications when you complete milestones during play. The official Discord has community tracking for the x5000 and x10000 milestones.
